Billing

Manage your subscription, payments, and billing settings.

Billing is managed at the organization level. Access billing settings to manage your subscription, view invoices, and update payment methods.

Accessing Billing

  1. Sign in to studio.tryalvin.com
  2. Go to Settings > Billing
  3. View subscription and payment details

Billing Overview

The billing dashboard shows:

  • Current Plan: Your subscription tier
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly or annual
  • Next Invoice: Upcoming charge date
  • Payment Method: Card on file
  • Usage: Current period usage

Subscription Plans

Alvin has three self-serve plans — Free, Standard and Ultimate — plus Education and Enterprise, which you arrange with us.

See Plans for what each one includes.

Payment Methods

Adding a Card

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter card details
  4. Set as default if desired

Updating Payment

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click on existing card
  3. Update details or add new card

Supported Methods

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Corporate cards
  • Invoice billing (Enterprise only)

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Invoices
  2. View invoice history
  3. Click to download PDF

Invoice Contents

Each invoice includes:

  • Billing period
  • Usage breakdown
  • Itemized charges
  • Total amount
  • Payment status

Changing Plans

Upgrading

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Plan
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select new plan
  4. Confirm and pay difference

Upgrades take effect immediately.

Downgrading

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Plan
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower plan
  4. Confirm

Downgrades take effect at next billing cycle.

Credits

How Credits Work

  • Purchased or included with plan
  • Used for API requests
  • Never expire
  • Not refundable

Purchasing Credits

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Credits
  2. Click Buy Credits
  3. Select amount
  4. Complete payment

Credit Balance

View your balance on the billing dashboard:

  • Current credits
  • Used this period
  • Projected usage
